Shopify App Auditor ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

When you install Shopify App Auditor, we collect:

• Your Shopify store domain (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com)
• The list of apps installed on your store (app names and pricing summaries)
• Store health scores and audit results generated by our analysis
• Installation date and last scan date

We do not collect:

• Customer names, emails, or contact information
• Order history or transaction data
• Product or inventory data
• Any financial or payment information

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect solely to:

• Generate store health audits and recommendations
• Track your store health score over time
• Improve our analysis engine

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your store data while you have App Auditor installed. If you uninstall the app, your store data is marked inactive. You may request full deletion at any time by emailing support@appdrain.com.

Shopify API Usage

App Auditor uses the Shopify API with read-only permissions (read_apps). We do not request write permissions and cannot modify your store in any way.

Data Security

Your Shopify access token is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored. All data is stored in a secured database hosted on Railway infrastructure.

Your Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@appdrain.com to exercise these rights.

GDPR / Data Deletion

App Auditor complies with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks. Upon receiving a deletion request, all associated store and app data is permanently removed within 30 days.
